Our team of 10 is safe in Guatemala. As you may have seen on the news there was a major volcanic eruption today from Volcan De Fuego. San Lucas is about 20 miles away from the volcano and the lava flow is flowing away from our location. Please pray for the people we know in the small village of Zapote as they live at the base of the volcano.
We have enjoyed our time here and have experienced God's love and mercy in amazing ways.
Saturday our team enjoyed God's creation at Lake Atitlan and spent time with Pastor Tono and Rudy.
Today we joined our brothers and sisters at Iglesia Galilea in worship. Pastor Sean joined the worship team and Pastors Kevin & Jared continued the series they have been preaching in Guatemala in the book of Matthew. Such an amazing time of worship and truly a preview of heaven.
Tomorrow we start work on the church building in San Lucas. Please pray for safety on the worksite and for us to be a blessing to the people while we are here.
