Hi, this is Glen.  Your Risen Life team had the honor to try and exemplify God today; be proud of them.  The Bible commands us to seek and help those in need.  Jesus set that example for us.  Today God, through you, and your team did just that.  The lives of two families were drastically changed by having some of their physical needs met.  Please pray that this opens the door to have their spiritual needs met.  Tono, through their four local village churches here are transforming lives.  Today we worked in the village of Antigua in an area where the people spend their days struggling to exist through daily life.   They live in homes made of cardboard, plywood, and corrugated metal, and cook on open flames in their homes.  Today we built two stoves.  Thank you Risen Life children’s classes.  The money you donated installed the first stove; “Risen Life Kids” is written on it.  You have made Francisco and Fransisca’s lives better.  My heart was touched today as I had the opportunity to play with children, with smiles on their faces, that normally have no toys; and as I watched Greg pray (in broken Spanish) and the lady who’s stove we just completed began to cry.  Over my thirty years of military service I have been all over the world in some pretty austere places; but never in a Christian mission setting.  Thank you for the opportunity to represent Christ here.  Through discussions with the team, our lives have been impacted as much, if not more, as those we are serving.  We will miss being with you at church tomorrow, but will attend Pastor Merari’s church, Iglesia Galilea, here.  Please keep us in your prayers.  Thanks.
